Triple Play was the 2005 FIRST robotics competition game; this was the first year of online rules coming out on a .pdf they even had their own password to get into! This was also the first year of a three robot alliance. The game pieces were tetras and were made out of pvc pipe. The tetras were meant to be placed on three large goals in a row similar to the game tic-tact-toe.
