Holiday Lights Parade

Let the Show begin in Clarkston for the Annual Parade!

Team RUSH 27 students worked vigorously to get their float ready for the annual Clarkston Holiday Lights Parade through downtown Clarkston! This year's parade had many float entries and judges awarded multiple awards, including two cash prizes! Float entries came from local businesses, Boy and Girl Scouts, Clarkston Community School Organizations, dance groups and much more!

Best Overall Parade Entry Sponsored by Team RUSH 27 ($250 Prize) - Independence Elementary Girl Scouts with their theme of How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

Most Creative STEM float Sponsored by Superior Buick ($250 Prize) - Adam Anderson with their entry of Peanuts Christmas

Winners of Clarkston School Pride ($100 Prize) - CCS School Bus Employees

Best Holiday Spirit Sponsored by Genisys Credit Union - Girl Scout Troop 75949 with their theme of The Nightmare Before Christmas in C-Town

Best Use of Lights and Music Sponsored by Techmode Go - Bordine Nursery

Best Use of Theme Sponsored by Union Joints - Clarkston Girl Scouts that included 100 people!

This year's theme was "Cinema Classics", and floats really outshined the big screen this year! We can't thank our sponsors enough for their contribution that helps make this all possible!

From decorated bikes to glowing semi and garbage trucks, the entries stopped at nothing to leave the crowds amazed and to ensure people will never forget the experience.
