FTC Tournament - November 1st

Team RUSH will be hosting an FTC kickoff tournament at Clarkston Junior High School on November 1st. We are looking forward to this exciting event, and getting back to normal!

FLL Explore Show Me Event - November 6th

On November 6th, Team RUSH will be hosting our annual FLL Explore Show Me Event! We cant wait to showcase all of our brilliant students' hard work on this action packed day!

Robotics are REBOOTING in Clarkston!

We are rebooting Clarkston robotics - post Covid! The four levels offered this year are listed below. If you are interested in joining a Clarkston robotics team, let us know how many are interested and please fill out this form: Robotics Interest Form

There will be an informational meeting for FLL Challenge and FTC on Wednesday, September 8th, 2021 at Clarkston High School, Room A107 (please park in upper parking lot by soccer field and come into the entrance across from the tennis courts).

6:00 - 6:30 pm - FLL (FIRST Lego League), 4th - 5th grades

6:30 - 7:00 pm - FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge), 6th - 8th grades

FLL Discover - Preschool

For children ages 4-6, this playful introductory STEM program ignites their natural curiosity and builds their habits of learning with hands-on activities in the classroom and at home using LEGO® DUPLO® bricks.

FLL Explore - Grades K-3

K - 3rd grades: FLL Explore In Explore, teams of students ages 6-10 focus on the fundamentals of engineering as they explore real-world problems, learn to design, and code and create unique solutions made with LEGO bricks and powered by LEGO® Education SPIKETM Essential or WeDo 2.0.

FLL Challenge - Grades 4 & 5

4th - 5th grades: FLL Challenge Friendly competition is at the heart of Challenge, as teams of students in 4th and 5th grade engage in research, problem-solving, coding, and engineering - building and programming a LEGO robot that navigates the missions of a robot game. Parents, please consider coaching for this leve, we will NEED coaches!

FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) - Grades 6-8

Code, Design, and Compete with Robots!

FIRST Tech Challenge students learn to think like engineers. Teams design, build, and code robots to compete in an alliance format against other teams. Robots are built from a reusable platform, powered by Android technology, and can be coded using a variety of levels of Java-based programming.
