![]()
The "Chazzee" team or "Chassis'" team's job is to make the lower part of the robot that everything else will rest on.
Robot Above Chassis:
The Above Chassis group is in charge of everything that goes above the chassis. This usually means arms. This year, they are making a telescoping arm!
Robot Mechanisms - aka "Seekers":
This year's Mechanisms group, aka "The Seekers", is in charge of the game piece grabbing mechanism.
Controls:
The advanced electronics/controls team is in charge of wiring the robot. They mount the electrical components and outfit the robot with the necessary sensors required by each mechanical subteam. They develop the control system and driver interface for use on the field.
Robot Programming:
The programming group writes code in Labview to read sensor inputs and drive motors to control the robot mechanisms. To do this effectively, the programming group interfaces with all the mechanical groups to document their objectives and get feedback as the code is developed.
