Connections With Our Elected Officials

Team RUSH has met with its elected officials including United States Congressman Mike Rogers with whom they have created a partnership with. They first met with Rogers after they invited him to a local parade.  He attended and spoke with the students.  After, he requested a meeting with the team to encourage the students to continue learning about math, science and technology and the team also presented to him.  He later requested another meeting to share his ideas about protecting the environment and the importance of alternative energy.
