FRC Rookie Mentor Camp
Team RUSH understands the responsibility of being a veteran team and providing resources to the new teams. In order to do this, we created our FIRST Rookie Mentor Camp. Hosted last Decmeber, It was a one day training conference for all new and returning FIRST teams. The mentors of Team RUSH covered every aspect of FIRST, from team recruiting and formation to robot construction and competition. The mentors of Team RUSH used over 80 years of combined experience to introduce other teams the "RUSH method of sustainability", including handing out our 148 page Tool Kit of Success to all of the 15 mentors in attendance. These 15 member represented 8 different teams in Michigan, 6 brand new rookies!
