Team RUSH New Members Project

On October 23, 2009 the new students on Team RUSH held a “No Returning Members Allowed!” build meeting. Here are a few of the new students who attended this meeting. Supervised by mentors but run by rookies, the new students set to work on their project of creating new shelves for the shop. This first annual event allowed the new students to have an accomplishment to call their own, shaking them of any possible feeling of “I’m not doing anything important for the team.” This event dramatically increased confidence in the rookies, and fostered a camaraderie rivaling that felt by 4 year returning students.
