Taste of Clarkston

On September 27, 2009 Team RUSH participated in the Taste of Clarkston, a community event where local businesses can show off their products and services and all of Clarkston can come together to support local businesses and organizations, such as the Clarkston Rotary and the Clarkston Area Chamber of Commerce. We hold a robot demo at the Taste every year as well as helping the Chamber with set-up, clean-up and basic needs during the event. This is one of our biggest community sponsorship!

 

Taste Of Clarkston

The Taste of Clarkston was a very good opportunity for community recognition. Featured were demonstrations of the RUSH robot. Children from around town came to watch the robot and learn to use the controls. The citizens of Clarkston were drawn in by the enthusiasm and spirit that Team RUSH exemplifies. The team members also assisted Clarkston High School selling coffee as well as the Chamber of Commerce setting up, selling ice cream, cleaning, running the Kids Zone, and selling tickets.
