FIRST Lego League (FLL) is an international Lego robotics competition for elementary and middle school aged students. FLL encourages kids to have an enthusiasm for discovery, science, and technology. Each year the teams receive a challenge based on current, real-world issues and technologies. Guided by a coach and mentors, the kids research the real-world challenge and find a solution to solve the problem, present their research and solutions, and build and program an autonomous robot out of Legos to compete in challenges that deal with the year's theme.
Our team mentors many teams throughout the area and encourage new students to start teams as well. We do summer Lego Camps, which help students to see what FLL is about or to prepare them for the upcoming season.
